According to analysis primipara and unemployed women had poor knowledge. Verma M, et al. in India, conduct a true experimental study assess the impact of health education pamphlets among postnatal mother at CMC & H, Ludhiania, India. In that 100 persons were control group 500 mother's group. The results showed significant differences score between pre post-test for population. average scores pretest controls similar, however post test significantly higher. confirm effectiveness using convey information. research approach used present was descriptive knowledge regarding newborn care mothers government hospital Gwalior. sample this selected by non-probability convenient sampling techniques. Sample size 60 natal mothers. A structured Knowledge Questionnaire on Content validity tool obtained 7 experts reliability calculated Kudar Richerdson r 0.932. Data analysed inferential statistics. findings related pre-test revealed mean% 45% aspect Newborn General Care. 40% immunization; 44.44% breast feedings 31.66 personal hygiene problem (Hypothermia Jaundice). total mean 41.11%. It also Bhasin S.K. mother’s pulse polio immunization schedule. 32% correct about first dose OPV. supported Cross Sectional Survey conducted 450 (0-3 months) umbilical cord practices.
